I’m from a rural, mid-south town in the Bootheel of Missouri called Kennett. I grew up loving sports and storytelling, dedicating most of my time in high school to writing short stories and playing basketball.

I spent two years at Webster University as an Advertising and Marketing Communications major and member of the Men’s Basketball Team. My childhood affinity for storytelling and creative writing led me to copywriting – strategic, organic concepts and punchy lines that tell a narrative in six words. Now, I’m finishing up my BA in Communication at the University of Missouri and working as a Freelance Copywriter and Marketing Coordinator.

In my free time I love to travel and backpack, regularly hiking mountains and sunbathing on white sand at the first opportunity. I’m still an avid sports fan that proudly reps the Memphis Grizzlies and Missouri Tigers (M-I-Z), and you can often find me visiting friends and eating at hole-in-the-wall restaurants in St. Louis.
